Work field: nutrition, social and cultural aspects of food habits

Gun Roos is a nutritional anthropologist. She received her Ph.D. in 1995 from the University of Kentucky with the dissertation "Cultural Analysis of Children, Food and Gender in the United States". Before she came to SIFO in 1999 she worked as a researcher at the National Public Health Institute in Helsinki, Finland (1997-1999) and at the University of Glasgow (1996).
